Beth here, I’m going to tell y’all about how I got to starting this business.
I began baking at an early age with the guidance from my grandparents, aunt, and my mom. The earliest memory I have of baking is making banana bread with my mom. As I got older, I was allowed to do more on my own in the kitchen. I began making cupcakes, bundt cakes, and cookies of all kinds.
I baked almost every week up until high school graduation. I then went off to the University of North Texas planning to study psychology. After a year and a half there, I decided that school wasn’t the right fit for me. I went back to my hometown and started classes at the community college in San Antonio.
In early 2017, I applied to the Culinary Institute of America’s San Antonio campus. There I got my degree in Pastry Arts. After graduation, I got a job at an upscale American restaurant in Uptown Dallas. I stayed there until March of 2020.
Now, as the pandemic has taken over most everyone’s lives, I have decided to do what I always wanted to do. Start my own business.
I am so excited to share my sweets and other baked goods with you and look forward to serving you in the near future.
